Well, today marks the end of the Pan Am Games in Toronto, and with it a very busy period for myself. For the duration of the games, I have been lucky to be one of the clinicians helping at the PolyClinic alongside some of the best and brightest doctors of the GTA region. I have been helping alongside other specialists as the podiatry/foot specialist for the athletes visiting our city and competing in these games.
I would like to thank the organizers of TO2015 for this wonderful experience and Dr. James Carson for leading the team. The sites were world class and organization was handled supremely well.
If Toronto is ever lucky enough to be chosen for the Olympics, you can be certain that we will be there to assist in any way we can. (and cheer especially loud for the Canadian athletes!)
Oh, and as I leave the games to return to the clinic full time, our other podiatrist, Allen Frankel heads down to lead the charge for the ParaPan Am Games athletes! We’re always staying busy at Markham Podiatry!
