Alexandra Witte was born and raised in Markham ON. She attended Unionville High School where she graduated from the arts program majoring in the dance arts in 2006. She then went on to pursue her post-secondary education in Hamilton at McMaster University and graduated in 2010 with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Throughout her undergraduate studies she was actively involved with the varsity sports medicine team as a team trainer. In 2013 she completed her advanced graduate diploma in Chiropody from the Michener Institute at UHN in Toronto. Alexandra has been practicing as a Registered Chiropodist within the GTA since 2013. She has had the pleasure of working in various clinical settings ranging from hospitals to private practice. She has been privileged to work at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Chiropody clinic where she specialized in treating the very high risk diabetic population performing extensive wound care. She has also served the downtown Toronto population at the Medcan Clinic – Canada’s leading executive health clinic from 2017-2019. Alexandra is a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine and the Ontario Society of Chiropodists where she was a previously elected member of the board of directors. Alexandra is a retired ballerina and an avid runner who has always had a passion for sports medicine and biomechanics. Currently, she enjoys treating athletes of all ages and sport specialties. In her free time Alexandra loves to travel the world and work on her photography skills.
